Heroes come in all Shapes and Sizes
Thank you. Two simple words, but they are so necessary for the millions of military families who wait for their loved one to come home. You NEVER forget our nation is at war. There is not a moment that goes by when your loved one is not far from your thoughts. And we want to let you know that you are not forgotten.
It’s nice to see magnets on cars, and yellow ribbons. It’s even better to see tangible acts of caring to our military families. That is what we are about. If you feel alone, and especially if you are not close to a post or base, we’d like to help. It might be help with child care for a few hours, or for the entire deployment. It might be someone to just listen. Or maybe a little help with car maintenance. Maybe someone to help with the confusing maze of Tricare or military pay. If it’s important to you, it’s important to us.
We are the churches of the Lutheran Church — Missouri Synod, and we have over 6,000 congregations. There is probably one not too far from you. And we’d like to help.
