Phone cards and freeze pops…
Mon, Jul 20, 2009
Imagine you are in Baghdad, Iraq. You have your military uniform on, as well as your flak vest (very heavy) and your helmet. The temperature here will be a balmy 97 degrees. You think back and remember when you were a kid, and those freeze pops hit the spot. We have a request from one of our chaplains to send freeze pops over there! They have freezers, and as you know, those freeze pops hit the spot! And -
Phone cards are always popular as well!! While there are many phone cards here in the states, the only ones that work without any hiccups overseas are the AT&T phone cards. If you would like more information on how to send these to our chaplains, please leave a comment below, and I will send you an email!

Mike,
My Women’s Group is interested in sending phone cards to troops. How do we do this? Thanks!
Bill
Bill,
You can simply mail them to the Chaplain who asked…I’m confirming the address right now, and should have an answer for you later today or first thing tomorrow!

Our Board of Evangelism has voted to reach out to our military. Phone cards and freezer pops is exactly the type of thing we are looking for. How do we get involved.
David
David,
Thanks for the note! Where are you located? We have many chaplains deployed, and we might be able to connect you with one from your state. This may help in your outreach, both now and when they return!
